the stencil card pop up was experimental showing ways we could colour the base. I had just used this idea for my grandson's card and having come across the boat I thought I'd see if it worked here.
The old ship was using different pastes on a background I had previously produced.
I am very conscious that we haven't used many papers recently as we are always creating our own backgrounds. I also have a lot of picture peel offs to get rid of so I have combined the two. The oriental designs look at using peel offs on patterned papers and cut out - or coloured directly onto card using pearl drops. The others look at using peel offs on acetate and colouring either with alcohol inks or permanent markers.

This month's theme was prompted by the fact that I still have the PARIS stamp for sale that I also have in my stash. the other stamps I have that I have used - mainly on backgrounds are the clarity stamps - ocean swirl. stamps are used with embossing powders and inks that we still have in our closing down sale.

Looking now at stamped and inked backgrounds with die cut butterflies & dragonflies.
Continuing the countryside theme for July I looked at which stencils we could use. Stencilling can be done with pastes, dry embossing metal & glitter techniques.
Here I have use some of the tree stamps & dies alongside some quirky sheep stamps for some of the ideas for July workshops
There are 2 sorts here. First there were the dies which made a full scene in themselves then there were the individual die cut flowers that could be used with other dies etc.
I had been asked about using gilding flakes so I have included some uses here.
I wasn't going to buy any more embossing folders but loved these..
I then looked at what stamps I had left on shelf that were also in my stash and to see how else I could use them.
As a change from the fairies I have included the dolphin die cuts and the lighthouse stamped scene for this month's workshops. Both of these have had some of the backgrounds mentioned on my last post used with them
Having got a few fairy diecuts I decided to look at using them against different backgrounds. The products I used for backgrounds were gilding polishes, pixie powders, sprays and our multibackground sheets we build up from wastes. In most cases I left the die cuts uncoloured but did try colouring in in a couple of cases.
and for those who don't want fairies I cut out the fairy from the woodland scene and replaced it by a house in 1 case and dogs in the other

I have used 2 of Nellies stamps for the first Spring cards and then a chicken from Woodware for the more funky card.
I do need to try a few extra things on the circles in these cards
This month I have used 2 new embossing folders featuring chrysanthemums and Poppies. As sual I have looked at different ways of using these
As usual I have played with different products to colour them.
Ok so I can't remember what this fold is called and usually I don't use it because there are so many spaces to fill but coming across some old sheets of dufex images that could be coloured with permanent markers I thought the two would fit together well.
Having done the basic fold and cut this card can be used in 2 ways - 1 that ends up with a triple fold card and the other that can be placed inside an A5 card. For the second card I also used a Woodware edger punch since I still have 2 left to sell along with a number of cassette punches to go with them.
I also used this idea for my grandson's birthday card - although I had to use a variety of toppers here to fit the sports he does.
I picked 2 frames from the Presscut range for using in this month's workshops. I have coloured them in with different products - some turning out better than others but on the whole I preferred the Craft Artist mica magic with the smaller wreath and inks with the poppy frame. The bunnies were also used here and other ideas for Easter and other occasions.
I thought I'd save the rabbit stamps till March ready for Easter if needed although they can be used for anything. A lot of last month's ideas with the dogs and cats could be used with these stamps but here are a few more ideas.

It was fortunate that I prepared the dogs and cats for Februarys workshop in December because I then broke my wrist and couldn't do much so as an alternative for February I picked some of the stencil cards I prepared last year but which we didn't use. My idea being that we would just use inking methods - as on top of board but in sorting out this week I came across lots of other ideas. I have lots of stencils so techniques can be applied to any of them if you have done these before
Using stamps and dies from creative expressions I had great fun looking into the many different ways of using them. I still have more ideas but my board is full!
Extra detail can be seen for some of the cards below e.g. cat om easel card and the 3d dogs - poodle was on the front.
Also for January as a change from houses I used this magnolia die. I have coloured it 5 different ways
for Januarys workshops I have used the miniature house collection from Sue Wilson. to make thse scenes i have either used stamping, additional die cuts or both
