Flowers made with John Next Door dies

After having 2 weeks with not playing due  a weeks holiday and  week trying to sort my workroom around the workshops booked I spent all my spare moments this week seeing what I could do with some new dies I had in from "John Next Door". Next week I shall look at using them on cards.
The top row used flower foam and the others were thick paper / lightweight card.

CS70 "Ladies & Gentlemen"

Whilst using the latest creative stamping magazine stamps I also explored lots of ways with a new Sue Wilson die which a customer had purchased but asked me to try out. I also used some of he new cosmic shimmer opal & lustre polishes plus some sprays through stencils for backgrounds.

A bit of repetition on the pictures since the ladies on their own didn't show up so well.

Cards suitable for men

There once again seemed to be a shortage of products to use for this so I have incorporated some of the dogs from a recent creative stamping and the lighthouse we did earlier this year. There are also many of the wildlife cards which we again covered in workshops earlier this year. JND's box card idea with clock and cogs has been used as well as putting decoupage into the "box".

Crads etc using JND's box card die

Here I have used the box die as a protective box for flowers and decoupage. I have also used it as a box for gifts and double layered cards. The tissue box was inspired by what I saw on hochanda when John introduced his new die as are a couple of other cards but my version of what I can vaguely remember.

New Cosmic Shimmer products

I have looked here at using the opal polishes on black and white card to show the difference, and the new lustre polishes. There are also cards using the luna paste and mixing it with pixie powders

Papercuts and with different products

For this workshop (coming up in April) I used the papercuts die from creative expressions with different products. These included sprays, inks for colour, pixie powders and some of the new cosmic shimmer opal and lustre polishes. You'll note I also liked the black and white finish.

Springtime garden

Thinking of Spring I have used the flower stained glass dies from creative expressions and 2 of the woodware stamps alongside the multilayered bunnies from crafts too.

Effects are from spraying, ink colouring and gilding polishes.

A couple of extras

Having been away for a week and being busy with workshops this week  I haven't done many new cards but there was a flower variation I did before I went away with JND's blousy poppy die.

Then I received the "Spot the Dog" stamp from this issue of creative stamping so I did one card with that this morning.

I notice there is no post with my "Springtime" board on and I don't have a picture at the moment so that'll be coming next

Creative stamping - "Furry friends"

I got carried away with the latest magazine stamps due out this week. I do have better pictures of the individual cards but 13 seemed too many to put on. As usual my challenge was to use every stamp on the sheet.

Butterflies , Dragonflies & other wildlife

The butterflies were mainly done with woodware stamps and the dragonflies with the papercuts die from creative expressions. I've then added into this workshop more wildlife from the stamps we used recently for those who hadn't tried them yet.
