Next I used Jane Gill's new rose stamp in different ways to suit all the Love occasions mentioned on my last post. I tried colouring with different materials some to better effect than others.
And then I added two cards from last years ideas - one stamped inner and heart dies, another using stencil and paste
February is a month when workshops are based around the idea of love in its many forms - be it for Valentine's Day, Engagement, Wedding Day, Anniversary, Congratulations, Mothering Sunday or just "With Love". Most of the cards can be adapted to suit any of these occasions.
Starting with die cutting we have the Love Birds, The rose frame and then the bells from before Christmas. Stamped cards will be on my next post.
Since the stencils I used on previous samples were out of stock at suppliers I thought I ought to redo a few cards using a different slim stencil for this months workshops. Here are the results ..
In looking at what was available fir January's workshops I have used some new thin stencils and a fairy stamp from creative expressions. I decided I would mix the techniques on most of these cards so that in many of the cards we use the stencils for backgrounds, stamps for main image and die cut images with oval dies etc.
but then if you don't like fairies I used similar ideas with other solid stamps we still have for sale
I havw also been busy doing crackers. These can be straightfoward (I have learnt that it isn't worth too much trouble with some family members) or elaborate (good for enclosing special presents) or somewhere in between depending on who and what for

Having purchased this new pyramid die from JND I have used it for boxes, lanterns, hanging decorations and cards. I tried it with different backgrounds - parchment for lanterns, glitter card for boxes etc.
