We got the stamps for this magazine issue early this time so I have been able to get some cards done before the arrival of the magazine which arrived today.
Inspiration came from the Sue Wilson shadow box dies but I thought I wonder what we could do with die sets we already have - and then of course I had to use the latest favourite product - metallic gilding polishes with them! and then use up the cut out pieces.....

Baby cards
With the arrival of our new Grandson this week I needed to sort out a baby card. Lacking inspiration I took all the baby related bits I could find and started to set about seeing how I could use them. These are the results
Thinking the spares would make me top heavy for boys in the shop I then did a couple of girl cards to make up for it.

Creative stamping 31 - customer workshop variations
Just to share with you a few variations of my cards that were done on the workshop. We looked at using the new pixie powders from cosmic shimmer as well as doing more with their metallic guilding polishes and colour core inks

Variations added to workshop boards.
Pixie powder background to the castle die.
This workshop card variation was done by a customer using one of my marble backgound sheets
This unfinished card was done using an idea from John lockwood where a coloured background is turned pearlescent using the pearl metallic gilding polish. (picture not good but it shows the sheen)
Another variation of a John Lockwood idea using metallic gilding polishes.
Then I tried a number of variations using the sweetheart flower die from creative expressions. (The "Many thanks" card was one we did on a retailer workshop with Sue Wilson)

Creative Stamping 31 - We Love Music
Each time the magazine stamps come out I have to find new ideas to do with them. Last time we looked at using the metallic gilding polishes from creative expressions I have used these again on some cards this time as well as using the colour core with the piano but my new product to try out this time was the cosmic shimmer PIXIE POWDERS.

Stampendous Embossing Powders
Inspired by Fran's book o n embossing powder techniques I cam up with the following. Some are better than others and the board I put my oddments on is continually being changed since I'm not happy with it but it does show a few more powder uses at the moment.
These were done after a workshop with Fran a few years ago on using powders so I dug them out to show adaptations of more ideas from her book

Home Decor - Driftwood
This driftwood and MDF shapes from creative expressions is great for decorating either with paints and inks or metallic gilding polishes.
The ideas are inspired by items we saw at the trade show from John and Lisa.
the above are my samples and those below were done at our craft group
