Sorry nothing last week. I was busy sorting out rather than making cards, then I worked with the vintage chic transfer sheets on material. I will show you those projects when completed. Delays as have to do in house where sewing machine is rather than in the shop.
This week I have been building up supplies of cards for the shop and trying different colour combinations with card, papers and dies mainly from creative expressions. You may have seen the original designs on an earlier posting.

I've been doing bits of MDF decorating over the last few weeks but decided to have a go at finishing a number off. The paints and decoupage sheets were from "Vintage Chic" by Debbie Moore, The crackle paints etc and mdf shapes were from creative expressions. ( although the wooden box is from Woodware)
The one above is crackle using cosmic shimmer products and clarity stamp.
The one below mixed the chalk paint with dreamweaver's regular embossing paste to give a lighter shade when used over the dreamweaver stencil
Below I have used the psint through a mask and then stamped with it to give a shadow to the stampedimage. I then used the Lea-bility daisy over it
Below shows trying different effects on the top of my distress ink storage boxes. The top one is just sanded the one below used the cosmic shimmer crackle glaze with the Vintage chic paints. It didn't work quite so well as with the cosmic shimmer paints on the blue tag above

I've had 2 jobs to do this week - the first was to do some "cute cards" ready for that workshop and the second was to have a good sort out to try to create more space - not an easy task at all!!!
I must admit I lacked inspiration when tackling the cards. I wanted to use the new animals from Woodware and then I wasn't sure so I must admit I did take inspiration from the woodware catalogue and adapt their ideas for their stamps. I then looked to see what I else I had on the shelves and found some Kanban stamps of animals that hadn't sold so I decided to divide the pack up so I could sell them individually and use one myself for the rolling flower card. In my sorting out I came across the "Peter Rabbit" sheets - printouts from the CD I had and since I still had a copy of this on the shelf decided to use this for the forth card. Then I stumbled across a folder with bits of the honey bee stamped and cut out so I decided this would also make another option for this workshop. I like doing the bee with a wire spiral behind so it bounces about. The dandelion which we have everywhere at the moment in gardens, hedgerows and fields have inspired my use of it - made from the creative expressions cornflower die. It seemed to suit these types of card!
MDF shapes are my next project so Ill be sharing those with you next

Boats & bikes
The new dreamweaver clipper boat and the stamp from woodware inspired half of this workshop. The clipper boat was done with paste and metallic f/x powders. I used a number of backgrounds created with the "creative palette " from Stampendous - great for using up old paints! I also added to the board a couple of sailing boats from last year - in case people want a more modern approach.
The feeling we needed something else for men I added bikes. The motorbike is a Marianne die and the trials bike a cheery lyn die. These were the main items to use but I got carried away with the backgrounds and tried tractors and landrovers on them also. I found a topper sheet with a young cyclist so added that to make sure I had covered all age groups.

creative stamping 24 - In Bloom
You get an extra post this week since I hadn't shown the pictures for this week's workshops. I have had a busy few days finishing these since the magazine only came in at the end of last week. Once again I have used some of our new die cuts with them.
I have used the Elizabeth Craft Lattice tag in a couple of ways and one of the pivot cards The pink die cuts are from the Sue Wilson range.

Jewellery & Embellishments from die cuts
I have had a play with the dies from Elizabeth craft and their shimmer sheets to create pendants etc that could be used in any situation.
Then I used Nellie's bracelet dies. Nellie has produced some imitation leather which gives a lovely soft bracelet (the black one) but I also used them with felt (red bits) and foam. These will be great for using with the children as well as yourselves.
I have put a wokshop down for this week but also one in half term so that anyone who wants to bring children or granchildren along to craft with them can

Dreamweaver stencils with Stampendous products
This week, inspired by the fact that Stampendous has now purchased Dreamweaver stencils I decided to plan my stencil workshop around using products from both companies. I started with the celtic cross stencil and putting "Seasonings" embossing enamel over and heating but not fully so that some texture shows. I just love these crosses.
I have then used backgrounds prepared using the stampendous "Creative Palette" and old paints (emulsions &acrylics), and then pasted the stencil using various types of paste including sludge paste (a mixture of all your odds and ends of paste). over this I have either used mica powders ( Dreamweavers metallic f/x) or various elements of the frantage powders etc, The paste is a great holder for the frantage elements. The frantage powders are heated.
I love this idea but feel some are better than others with colours and backgrounds chosen. I will try and get more examples before the workshop.

I have been busy with workshops this week but managed to try some ideas for the dies with matching stamps workshop. The stamps and dies are from creative expressions. Some are new and some are from last year.
The other workshop for this week is using the dies for shaped cards. We have used the stepper card die a few times recently so I collated a few ideas as shown across the top of this picture. New is the lattice tag die which can be seen better on my last post. Then we have pivot and accordion cards from last year. Hopefully there will be time to do more variations with these before the workshop.
The final picture show a combination of the above and includes all of the items we will be using this week.

Last week I was busy preparing for our demo weekend. Below are some of the things we did with the new products. The first was using the lattice tag from Elizabeth Craft designs in different ways. I didn't have time to get too elaborate but I wanted to show different ways of using his die set.
Then I looked at using some of the new dies from creative expressions.
and then I played with the Cornflower die to see what different flowers I could make. (excluding daisy which was a different die!)
